What is Wheel of Decisions for?
It's a free online spinning wheel for everyday choices. Teachers use it as a random name picker in the classroom, couples use it to settle what to eat or watch, party hosts use it to pick the next player, and streamers use it for live giveaways. Anywhere you'd flip a coin or roll a die, you can spin the wheel instead — with as many options as you need.
How do I use the wheel spinner?
Type your options into the list next to the wheel (one per line), then click the wheel or press the Spin button. The wheel decelerates with realistic physics and lands on a winner. You can remove the winner and spin again, edit the list at any time, save a wheel to your account, or share a direct link to it with friends.
Is the wheel truly random?
Yes. The wheel uses your browser's crypto.getRandomValues() — the same cryptographically secure generator used for security tokens — to pick the winning angle on every spin. That means every option has a genuinely equal chance, and past results have zero influence on the next spin. Getting the same result twice in a row is normal randomness, not a bug.
Can I build a wheel with AI?
Yes. Click "Build with AI" and describe what you want in one sentence — "date night ideas under $20", "icebreaker questions for a team meeting", "random fantasy character names". The AI returns a ready-to-spin wheel in seconds. You can edit any entry before spinning.
Do I need an account?
No. Spinning the wheel is free and requires no sign-up. Creating a free account unlocks saved wheels across devices, your spin history, and the ability to host multiplayer challenges where friends spin the same wheel and compare results.
Is my data private?
Yes. We don't sell your data and we don't run third-party analytics or trackers. Anonymous spins are counted in aggregate for the public spin counter; nothing personal is attached. AI prompts are processed through a privacy-respecting gateway and aren't used for training. Full details in our privacy policy.
Can I use it in the classroom?
Yes — it's one of the most common uses. Add your students' names, spin to pick who answers next, or use one of our ready-made classroom wheels (random student, random group, today's monitor). See our guide for teachers for lesson ideas.
Why am I seeing ads?
We run a small number of unobtrusive Google AdSense ads to keep the site completely free with no paywalls. We never show ads that block the wheel itself. You can read more about how Google uses cookies for personalized advertising in our privacy policy.
